Terms and Conditions of Care
Guidelines governing doctor consultations, authentic Kerala Panchakarma therapies, and pharmacy services at our Jaipur and Kota centres.
1. Scope of Care & Facility Nature
Ambience Kerala Ayurvedic Hospital provides holistic outpatient (OPD) and day-care inpatient therapeutic management rooted in the classical principles of Ashtanga Hridaya and traditional Kerala Panchakarma traditions. By scheduling an appointment, registering at our reception, or purchasing dispensary products, you agree to these operational and clinical terms.
2. Emergency Medical Disclaimer
Critical Care Notice
Ambience Kerala Ayurvedic Hospital is a specialized traditional Ayurvedic healing facility and does not operate a 24-hour trauma ICU or acute emergency surgical unit. Patients experiencing acute myocardial infarction, severe stroke, uncontrolled hemorrhage, or life-threatening emergencies must immediately be escorted to an allopathic multi-specialty tertiary care hospital.
3. Doctor Consultations & Nadi Pariksha
All patient assessments, pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha), and treatment recommendations are conducted exclusively by qualified, registered Ayurvedic Vaidyas possessing recognized BAMS or MD (Ayurveda) degrees.
- Patients must provide complete, truthful disclosure of their existing medical history, current allopathic medications, surgeries, and known allergies.
- Ayurvedic formulations work synergistically with the body's internal healing intelligence; treatment durations vary depending on disease chronicity (Jirna Roga) and individual patient adherence to prescribed dietary restrictions (Pathya-Apathya).
4. Panchakarma Therapy Protocols
Panchakarma therapies—including Shirodhara, Janu Basti, Kati Basti, and Patra Pinda Sweda (Elakizhi)—require physical preparation and post-procedure care:
- Therapies are executed by trained Kerala Panchakarma therapists of the same gender under the direct supervision of an attending Vaidya.
- Patients must strictly avoid cold drafts, refrigerated water, and heavy meals immediately following warm oil therapies to prevent Vata aggravation.
- Female patients must notify clinical staff regarding pregnancy or active menstrual cycles, as specific purgation and deep basti therapies are contraindicated during these phases.
5. Appointments, Rescheduling & Punctuality
Patients holding confirmed OPD slots are requested to report at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time to complete vital check-ins. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please inform our reception at least 4 hours in advance via telephone at 9799619162.
6. Authentic Pharmacy & Medicine Dispensation
All classical Ayurvedic medicines, Tailams, Arishtams, and Ghrithams dispensed from our hospital pharmacy are sourced from certified GMP-compliant Kerala manufacturers. For safety and hygiene standards, unsealed herbal formulations or opened liquid bottles cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed from the counter.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Rajasthan and the Republic of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising out of clinical services shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
